Where Can I Go To Learn Web Hosting From The Ground Up?
I know nothing about it but would like to purchase a server, primarily for my own use, but also do web hosting for others for profit. Can anyone tell me where I would go (a website, a comprehensive but easy to understand book for newbies) to learn what I need to know about web hosting?

Try w3schools.com - it is free resource, no need to buy book for something that changes so frequently.
