  1. I’d recommend a multi-tiered approach. I don’t know your site address (feel free to email me for further analysis) - but I assume your primary goal is “traffic”. Profits form AdSense requires huge amount of relevant traffic.
Assuming you have budget, PPC and SEO would be a good start, but you should start with the “basics” first. Don’t waste your money by just plowing it into a PPC Google AdWords program without the proper research, landing page, etc.

  2. Hi! Vicky B,
There are ways of generate traffic, either paid or free traffic.
    1. Directories Submission Traffic Generation
With online directories, you can add your website into specific categories and instantly establish back links to your website, just be careful not to over-do it!
You want to develop a natural back link campaign, so that you are not penalized by the search engines for what may appear to be ‘link spamming’ or participating in link farms.
A few directories to consider are:

  7. If you indeed have taken care of your on-page SEO, then it’s time to do off-page SEO. And this is best done for free. I would suggest article marketing to build up backlinks.
It takes time to get to page one of search results but it can be done. Try using less competitive keywords first.
There are blog networks like the one I have started using that welcome article contributions and offer free one-way backlinks. You just have to look.
Content marketing is better at attracting targeted traffic. Avoid offers of instant traffic that are just mere clicks coming from uninterested visitors.
It takes time to make money from AdSense. You may need more than one site and lots of targeted traffic. Also, make sure you are using the highest-priced keywords to earn more from clicks. You can do this with the Google AdWords Free Keyword Tool.
You are in essence doing content marketing. If you search for “content marketing for beginners”, you might find some helpful insights.
