12 Year Old Takes Dad To Court Cause She Was Grounded???
OTTAWA (AFP) - A Canadian court has lifted a 12-year-old girl’s grounding, overturning her father’s punishment for disobeying his orders to stay off the Internet, his lawyer said Wednesday.

The girl had taken her father to Quebec Superior Court after he refused to allow her to go on a school trip for chatting on websites he tried to block, and then posting “inappropriate” pictures of herself online using a friend’s computer.
Who want’s to bet that this 12 year old is heavily into drugs, sex and will be pregnant in a year’s time????

Apparently this kid ran to her mother’s divorce lawyer and the lawyer actually wasted taxpayer money on this crap.
I think the mother is not thinking of the best interests of the daughter.It just makes you wonder how much the mother actually cares what the daughter is doing.What a dark day for parents when the courts once again undermine parental discipline.I think the father was behaving appropriately by grounding his daughter from the computer.I think the judge should have had the history on the mother’s computer to see if the mother is even aware of what her daughter is doing.We are constantly reminded to monitor our children on the computer because of real dangers such as sexual predators.Since when should a parent be punished for loving their child enough to do the right thing?Perhaps the judge should also tell this “know-it-all “12 year old that with rights come responsibilities.will she expect the same courts to prosecute an Internet predator when the parents are “afraid” to exercise their parental responsibility for fear of their children taking them to court over frivolous court cases.We are trul living in an age where the inmates are running the assylum.
That is crazy. The world must be coming to an end. Thats why little kids these days are so spoiled, no discipline. They just want everything their way or no way at all. I need to go lay down, my head is hurting after reading that.
